Time of my Life

right now it's 90 degrees in my apartment.
right now my right armpit is sweating profusely and my left isn't sweating at all.
right now the smell of dog pee reminds me of summer in florida.
right now I wish I had all the money saved for a wedding and a honeymoon.
right now my eyes burn.
right now I'm happy for Dan Mayer.
right now Oni is chewing on a bottle cap.
right now I wish Nicole was home.
right now I'm happy to be off work.
right now I want to watch Scrubs.
right now I'm going to write Dan an e-mail.

Weeks back while Nicole and I were drinking heavily downtown we crossed paths with our friends Jeremy B and Caruso. While drinking I mentioned that I'd like to purchase some of Jeremy's art sometime. He said he had a piece he was working on and he'd sell it for a very modest price in a few weeks. I agreed to buy it without ever seeing the art. I don't know how we remembered but it came up again and we offered to make him dinner in exchange for delivery of the art.

When Jeremy came through the door clutching this giant piece of art I was immediately impressed with the sheer size of it. He then turned it around and I couldn't believe the piece of art that was now in my possession. I knew Jeremy was talented but I guess I had no idea the extent of his capabilities.

Thank you Jeremy B. Thank you for the amazing piece of art. I feel very fortunate to be lucky enough to own one of your pieces.

I turn 23 today. For the next 11 days I will be just as old as Nicole. We're growing old together.
