This is amazing
Today Nicole was checking her e-mail and found that someone had made a deposit into our FallOutBoy.com wedding gift account. The deposit was for $200 and it was from a total stranger.
We couldn't have kept the money and felt good about ourselves with the wedding being over and fall out boy never actually showing up so we wrote her back and said we'd like to give it to a charity in her name.
Amy Roach, whoever you are, you're a kind soul and the world could use more people like you. Thank you for taking the time for us.
"We're only good 'cause you can have almost famous friends"

If you read my blog I'm sure you already know Dan Mayer and Dave Speidel. What you may not know is that they've both made the cover of Westword in the last four months. In case you didn't read right, I'll type it again they've both made the cover of Westword in the last four months. If I had to compose a list of my best college friends it would read (not in order of bestfriendedness by any means) Dan Mayer, Scott Carpenter, Dave Speidel and Steven Migalalala (a joke for Steve). Since graduation two of them (that I know of) have made the news (local AND national). I suppose with their government jobs Scott and Steve could have made the news but if they confess to what they're involved in they'd probably have to kill anyone who heard.
I am guilty of only cruising by my friends blogs on occasion so I missed Dave's post about his Westword story and was shocked when Nicole and I saw him on the Westword cover while leaving the restaurant.
Upon grabbing almost every copy left I thought, "Shit! I need to do something worthy of publication! Or at least before Scott and Steve do... I've got time." (that joke's for everyone)
Anyway, before I go on forever about how cool my friends are I'd like to congratulate Dave on his cover story. Congratulations Dave (also, my Dad would like to send his congratulations and said if he can ever be of any help don't neglect to give him a call) you're the shit.
