I just learned of the latest school shooting. This time it's at Virgina Tech and it takes the cake with 22 dead so far. I was just thinking about all the media that will be generated from this. First will come all the news television and paper headlines. The CNN scroller will be busy updating America to the latest gory details. Then will come the weekly magazine covers (always pictures of students hugging and crying) like TIME and Newsweek filling in a few more details but this time with lots of photos to back them up. Next will be the special reports from the news programs once most of the details have come in. Finally, there will be a TV movie or independant film revolving around the story being followed up quite a good deal of time later by the "Final Report" type of TV program which takes into account a new angle on the whole situation plus all the previous information.
It makes me sick.

Yep pretty much. I just think about stuff like that and feel horrible because all people will say is that that guy is a psycho and that's it plain and simple when in reality there is just so much more going on there but people don't care about getting to the root of shit. Just assign blame make a media frenzy on it.
