Time of my Life

This is my first post from my new blackberry. I'm currently en route to work on the train! I can see why these can become addicting.

My new blackberry! It's frickin' awesome.

Dave and I went skating at the Denver skate park today. We both suck but it didn't make it any less fun. We took a couple spills but we're ok unlike one of the kids skating there who was pretty awesome. He was coming up the wall of one of the bigger pools and tried to pop-shove-it or something but instead launched his board with lots of momentum right into his finger. The tip of his finger met what I assume must have been the edge of the board effectively splitting the top of it open and pushing his fingernail a good half inch to the side. Luckily, Dave the EMT was there and gave it a quick look and told the kid he better get to the hospital.

My wife loves lives for photography. I can't believe how quickly she has been learning and improving her techniques. Today she made Flickr's Explore Top 500 Most Interesting list coming in at #473.

Congratulations baby. This is just the beginning of a long and happy road and I couldn't be happier helping you get a new lens today. You deserve it.

I just signed all the papers to become a teacher at CCD thus securing my second part-time job in addition to my full time job at G|S. It's going to be fun teaching but I'm starting to worry about the money I will be making. Don't get me wrong, it will be nice to make more money but I worry about the taxes. I worry that maybe they won't take enough out and when tax time comes I'll find out I owe the IRS a bunch of money. That would suck. But I'm married so that counts for some kind of tax relief right?

Who cares. I will be making more money and saving a lot of it. Here's to things getting easier and moving to L.A.

While there has been lots of hand-holding, many meetings and more revisions than one could shake a stick at below you will find my first series of homes that I essentially designed on my own. The idea is that some day soon they will be built in west Arvada but we'll have to see.

Miss Colorado actually won the pageant but Miss South Carolina stole the show! I can't even watch the whole clip because it hurts so bad.
