I can usually never afford to put more than $20 worth of gas in the jeep at a time. Today I was feeling wealthy so I decided to fill it up. Not five minutes later I'm broken down on the highway. The gas pedal is unresponsive to my heavy foot which makes me think its a problem with the fuel system. Everything's been such a drag lately I won't be surprised is its the fuel pump which is swimming in $50 of gas at the moment. I've never dropped the fuel tank on this vehicle but I've got the sneaking suspicion it should be close to empty when you do it. So now I'm sitting here on the side of the highway hoping I won't get hit before the tow truck arrives. He's currently 30 minutes late and I've really got to pee.
