Nicole Versus the Elements

I woke up yesterday to the weatherman saying "arctic conditions". My first thought was that he was speaking of someplace far to the north-Alaska? Canada? Montana? But much to my dismay he was speaking of noneother than Denver, Colorado. That's right people, I'm facing arctic conditions. The high yesterday was 10 degrees! I'm not made for this. My people are from the warm depths of Mexico. Genetically, I'm just not designed to deal with this. Mentally, I can't even comprehend what minus-some-degree means. I'm almost ready to give in to the cold, just roll over and die. But other people seem to be surviving it so I guess I'll try this "layers" business and hope it works for the little mexican girl from Roswell.

Wish me luck, send me warmth.

Dan:

My car wouldnt start this morning cause a door didnt close all the way leaving a little light on and killing my battery... I had to walk to 3 stores before i could find jumper cables... While talking on the phone setting up road side assistance, (in case I couldnt get a jump or something else was wrong). Anyways It was freezing and no fun, but hey, i doubt i will ever leave my door slightly ajar again. I was 2 hours late to work. I also learned that i apparently dont have jumper cables anymore... I dont know when that happenned.

Best of luck adjusting...

What a coincidence! The Jeep didnt start this morning either due to a dead battery. I tried to cry but my tears froze before rolling down my cheeks. Then this nice girl drove up and agreed to help me jump the jeep. It was cold as shit and I too was late to work.
