Cobwebs

My blog has become the dark scary basement that gets scarier the longer you go without venturing in. I guess I'll brush the cobwebs aside and watch critters scatter back into the darkness.

If you've been brave enough to check back here during my hiatus I'd like to thank you and apologize for my absence. I wish I had a good excuse but "we're a one computer family now" sounds way too pretentious. The truth is just that I haven't had the desire to sit and type.

I have had the desire to watch the sun rise over downtown Los Angeles, and listen to the city sounds, and share it all with the love of my life. Life has been great out here and even though there is violence in the street, there is a sense of peace in my heart.

Our world is a scary place these days, I hope that amidst the turbulence and uncertainty you all have a place of peace and comfort to call home.

Ernie E:

OMG Nicole! I've heard parts of L.A. to be dangerous but to read first-hand accounts is very scary. I wish you and Dom would just get the hell out of there and find someplace a lot more peaceful. If it means anything, there's a number of "For Sale" signs in my neighborhood and it's a good one.

Take care of yourself Nicole. I'll be praying for both of you.

Dan:

Time to come out of the basement... Time to come out Nicole
